There are currently some severe storms in and around Brisbane where my family live.
I just sent my sister a message using What's App, asking how they were doing, or so I thought.
However mobiles here start with 07 or 08, as do QLD or WA landline numbers. So What's App had assigned some random Sth African persons mobile number which is exactly the same as my sisters landline number, with my sisters name in my contacts list. Confusion reigned supreme until they responded in Afrikaans, and I realised I most definitely was not talking to my sister.
My family all seem to be fine though, still waiting to hear from a couple of friends.
